The 10th Progetto Fuoco – held February 24 — 28 in Verona, Italy – was Mertik Maxitrol’s first as an exhibitor and turned out to be well worth the effort. The international wood‐fired heating and energy exhibition was a great success and was attended by more than 70,000 visitors from over 30 different countries.
Now the largest event in the world for the wood fire industry, the Progetto Fuoco was the perfect opportunity for Mertik and U.S. affiliate Maxitrol Company to introduce their new E‐Flame© Control System for wood and solid fuel stoves. The E‐Flame© system can run on mains power or solely on battery power and controls two independent air supply channels. The new myfire© App was also presented at the show. Myfire© works in conjunction with Mertik’s popular GV60/Symax system for gas fires. The app’s interactive, colorful graphics make operating a smart phone or tablet simple and fun while giving complete control of your gas fire. Myfire© offers an energy saving Eco Mode, the auto‐comfort Thermostatic Mode, and a Program Mode that allows you to set the ON/OFF times and temperatures. And save all your favorite settings using the Profile Mode. Attending the busy show were Mertik Maxitrol Engineer Peter Keil, Regional Sales Manager Rainer Horn, and Marketing Assistant Melanie Zeiger.
